Theme:
Poems wanted on people and the communication between people
via verbal discussion over the phone or in person, via e-mail or snail
mail (regular post)
or via body language. Poems may also be about miscommunication,
lost messages and messages never sent
Entry fee:
1 book of 10 regular Canadian non-cancelled postage stamps for up to
5 poems.
Additional poems 2 non-cancelled postage stamps each.
There is no limit to the number of submissions.
The Rules:
Poems not to exceed 36 lines and the spaces between the stanzas count
as lines.
All styles welcome.
Poems can be previously published,
but no previous poetry contest winning entries, please.
Blind Judging:
Author's name should not be anywhere on the same page as the poem, back
or front.
Include a separate cover page with Author's name, complete mailing address,
phone number & e-mail (if possible), and poem titles (or first lines
if no poem titles).
