Hi there. My name is Gail Gernat and I am a writer, poet, some time editor, book reviewer, nature nut, and carousel addict. I live in the far north of Ontario, in the bush outside of Matheson with my most beloved husband, a standard poodle and five cats, one of which belongs to the dog. I have been writing poetry (songs) since I first learned to talk at an early age. I spent my time in high school composing poetry and recieved a grade of 100% for english in grade 10. We won't speak about the other classes. Due to a severe lack of self confidence, I am a late starter and have only been sending my writing off for about the last ten years. I am involved in mentoring other writers who wish to join the crazy world of the published word and I am an excellent teacher (or so I have been told). |
