	Jay Charles Hershberg is a past president of The Ontario Poetry Society. I have won a few contests along with having received a number of honorable mentions. The latest of which were second prize and an honorable mention from the Stellar Showcase Journal and was the featured poet in their Fall, 2007 issue. I write from the heart as well as from a slightly twisted sense of humor to try to bring some measure of pleasure into the lives of my readers As of last May 27th I, by the grace of GODS reached my 82nd year of existence. I still write in the style of the bards of old as I feel the romance is better felt with rhyming poetry.
