William
G. Ferguson is a single Father of two children who reside with him
in Kingston Ontario. He has written poetry since the age of seven
and despite being sidetracked by a thirty year and still counting
career in the construction industry, he has maintained his love and
his dedication to the art of writing.
His writing style is traditional, that being of rhyme and structured
rhythm. His influence came from his Grandmother who was an accomplished
writer in her days.
He has also written a great many short stories and has completed a
novel which is currently unpublished and is being edited at this time.
William is of the belief that the greatest of poems are written in
the saddest of times. Poetry is more of an expression and a release
of emotion than an attempt to tell a story and in his newly released
book of poetry entitled Love Unveiled he examines love as it
affects us in our journeys and creates the array of emotions that
we carry within.
As a part time venture, William also offers a Poet for Hire service
specializing in personalized poetry for special occasions.
