John Di Leonardo is a Canadian visual artist/poet, past president of The Brooklin Poetry Society, former TOPS editor of Verse Afire. He is a Member of The League of Canadian Poets, and the Canadian Authors Association. He has published two award winning chapbooks Book of Hours (2014), Starry Nights (2015), and is the recipient of the 2017 Ted Plantos Memorial Award. John's poetry has appeared in over thirty Canadian journals and anthologies, including The Banister, Verse Afire, Tower Poetry. His debut book of poetry "Conditions of Desire" was published by Hidden Brook Press in the fall of 2018.

John has had many solo and group exhibitions to his credit over the years. His work can be found in private and public collections, including McMaster Museum of Art. He is the recipient of the RMG Art Lab Residency, and the Ontario Arts Council Exhibition Grant, 2018. John sits on the Board of Directors for the Station Gallery in Whitby Ontario. He is represented by Art Dialogue Gallery in Toronto.
