To Rhyme Or Not To Rhyme, That Is Your Choice Poetry Contest

Rhyming Poems and
Free Verse Poems Each has the following Prize Structure:
First Prize:
$100 - Second Prize: $50 - Third Prize: $25
Plus both categories each have 7 Honourable Mention Awards of $10 each
All contest prizes paid in Canadian dollars only.
Plus all 20 prize winners receive a fancy certificate
and all 20 prize winning poems will be published together in a chapbook
and all contributors will receive 1 free chapbook for every poem included.
Rules and Guidelines:
Blind judging.
No author I.D. to be anywhere on the same page as the poem, back or
front.
Poems to be typed inTimes New Roman or Arial 12 point font on white
8 ½ x 11 paper.
Include a cover page with Poem Title (or first line if no title),
author name, complete mailing address including apt. # and postal code,
telephone number and e-mail ( if possible).
Kindly indicate on the cover page if the poem is rhyme or free verse.
All themes and styles welcome. Haiku poems count as one poem each.
Do not put more than one poem on a page. Enclose a #10 S.A.S.E. for
the winners list.
If submitting from the U.S., add $1 extra for return postage
and do not put an American stamp on your S.A.S.E.
Poems submitted are to be unpublished and not sent elsewhere.
Poems not to exceed 36 lines and the spaces between the stanzas count
as lines.
Poems are not returned, so do not send the only copy of the poem.
There is no limit to the number of submissions per poet.
