Wild Things

A Weird, Wonderful, Whimsical Canadian Poetry Anthology

I.B. Iskov, Editor and Compiler ยท Ronda Wicks Eller, Illustrator

All members of The Ontario Poetry Society are invited to participate in our annual anthology of poetry. This collection will feature your best poems on the following themes:

Wild Things

Poems about the wild side: wild nights, wild adventures, wild animals, wild romances, the wilderness, outrageous and eccentric people or situations, wild activities including bungee jumping, skydiving and mountain climbing.

Weird Things

Poems about weird happenings: hauntings, spirits, unusual dreams or nightmares, imaginary friends or imaginary creatures like monsters under your bed, the unexplained, strange coincidences, time travel, seeing a flying saucer and meeting aliens.

Whimsical Things

Poems of whimsy: silly escapades, humorous encounters, cloud hopping, the bizarre and the peculiar, playful songs and dances, embracing your inner child, carefree experiences, and the irreverent, joyful, fun side of nonsensical love.
