Biography

Allan Briesmaster is a freelance editor and publisher who has been active in the Toronto-area poetry scene for many years.

He was a partner in Quattro Books from 2006 to 2017 and has run his own micro press, Aeolus House, since 2003. He has ten full-length books of poetry and nine shorter books, and his work has appeared in many journals and anthologies. He has given readings and talks, led writers' workshops and retreats, and organized many book launches and other literary events across Canada. Allan lives in Thornhill, Ontario with his wife Holly, a visual artist with whom he has collaborated several times.
